During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 food delivery apps in Mexico experienced varying trends in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at their performance on a unified platform.

Rappi: Market and Food Online saw its weekly downloads peak at around 227K in late April before experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 162K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of around 2.3M in early May and closing the quarter at approximately 2.1M. Revenue trends were relatively stable, fluctuating between $4 and $12 weekly, with no significant peaks or drops.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads from about 164K in mid-April to around 120K by the end of June. Its weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting at approximately 1.7M in late March and ending the quarter at about 1.5M.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 70K and 110K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decline from around 1.7M in late March to about 1.5M by the end of June.

Modelorama Now exhibited a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 18K in late March and peaking at approximately 34K in late May. The app's weekly active users showed a similar upward trend, rising from around 27K in late March to approximately 44K by the end of May, before stabilizing around 38K in June.

GLUP showed significant growth in weekly downloads, beginning at around 6K in late March and reaching a high of approximately 27K by mid-June. Its weekly active users also increased, starting at about 9K in late March and peaking at around 32K in mid-June, before slightly declining to around 25K by the end of the quarter.
